One of the things I love most about graphic design is the variety it brings - one day, I’m designing a website, the next, it’s print marketing, social media graphics or special acrylic keepsakes like these!
In 2023, I was asked to create a custom arrival card for a little one due in early 2024. The design was inspired by my client’s love of native florals, with the special addition of a head of wheat, representing her childhood in the Eastern Wheatbelt. But why stop at an arrival card when you can have a full matching set? Alongside the arrival card, we created 12 monthly milestone cards to celebrate each stage of the first year, featuring the same floral design and a beautifully soft, muted colour palette.
This was such a fun collaboration with Elsie + Me Boutique who worked her laser cutting magic to create these beautiful pieces!
And time flies! Earlier this year, we completed the set with a custom first birthday cake topper for Alana’s big day! Designed in a gorgeous cherry pink with text to match the arrival and milestone cards, it was the perfect finishing touch to this sweet collection.
To create the cake topper, I worked with the talented and super lovely Bree from Inked and Etched!
